Jim is a second-generation funeral director with nearly 4 decades of experience providing families with compassionate care and professional service. He grew up in the West Texas town of Alpine and appreciates and identifies with the spirit of community shared by his friends and neighbors in Kaufman County.
Jim belongs to the Terrell Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club of Terrell. In 2010, Jim was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow with Rotary International. In addition, he has served on various civic and government boards in Texas.
Jim and his wife have 2 children and 1 grandchild. They enjoy gardening and outdoor activities and are members and volunteers at Community Life Church.
Maegan grew up watching her grandfather serve the community as a funeral director in in Sudan, Texas. Seeing the impact that he had on families in their greatest time of need inspired her to follow in his footsteps. Maegan graduated from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in 2015 and began working at Anderson-Clayton Bros. Funeral Home the following year.
Maegan is a member of the Terrell Kiwanis Club and a big sports fan. She loves cheering on the Texas Rangers and Texas Tech Red Raiders.
