Colonial Funeral Home is also proud to serve the military community, and help honor the men and women who have served our country. We have had a close relationship with Randolph Air Force Base, Fort Sam Houston, The Army Residence Community and the military community at large.

At Colonial Funeral Home, we understand losing a loved one is an emotional and difficult experience, and we are committed to helping families with compassionate, professional and personal service.

History

James (Jack) Estes and Hardy Henderson opened Colonial Funeral Home in February 1980. The 2 funeral directors sought to provide an exceptional level of funeral home services to Universal City, Texas, and the surrounding area.

In 1984 Jack became ill, and Hardy took over the business, continuing the pursuit of service excellence. In November 1995, Colonial Funeral Home added a 2nd chapel.

In April 1997, we joined the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers. Throughout our history we have continued to lead innovation in funeral services, while maintaining a high standard of service.
