James started his funeral service career in 1984 in his hometown of Grants Pass, Oregon, and has been with Dignity Memorial since 2003. In 1988 Jim earned his degree in mortuary science at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon.
Jim's service to his community includes being a charter member of the Columbia Gorge Kiwanis Club. Since 1993 Jim has been an active member of One More Time Around Again Marching Band, which performs with the Portland Rose Festival in annual community activities.
Leigh Marie Mullen
Leigh Mullen has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1997. She attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, where she received her Bachelor of Science in mortuary science in 1996. Leigh worked at 2 busy funeral homes in metro Detroit, learning important skills all along the way.
In 2008 Leigh relocated with her husband to Washington state, discovering how different funeral service can be throughout the country, and joined our staff in 2013.
