Licensed in 1974, George served in the U.S. Navy as a mortician in Guantanamo Bay, then at the Armed Forces Mortuary at Oakland Army Base in charge of the Navy and Marine Corps mortuary. After his enlistment, he performed a variety of jobs and returned to funeral service in October 2003 when he joined our funeral home. After serving briefly at Hay and Peabody in Portland and becoming location manager at Lindquist Funeral Home in Yarmouth, George returned to our team in January 2016. George says of his career, "I have had a charmed experience in funeral service, and I am especially proud to be a part of such a wonderful company."
Thomas Lee Heath
Born in Rumford, Maine, Thomas graduated high school in 1975, attended the University of Maine and went on to graduate the New England Institute of Funeral Service in 1977. After serving 38 years at another funeral home, Tom took some time off before joining our funeral home family in January 2016. Tom has been married to the love of his life since 1983, lives in Livermore Falls and enjoys fly-fishing, golf, skiing and hunting.
