    Ronald "Ashley" Hicks is a lifelong resident of Lexington County. He graduated from Batesburg-Leesville High School and Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer and has been with Caughman-Harman Funeral Home since 1997.

    Ashley is also a member of the South Carolina Funeral Directors Association and a former Lexington County deputy coroner. He is married and has 1 daughter.

    JEFFREY Scott Hamm

    Funeral Director

    Licensed funeral director, embalmer and certified crematory operator Scott Hamm has been with Caughman Harman Funeral Home since 2013. He graduated from Lexington High School and Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science. He is a member of the South Carolina Funeral Directors Association and Airport Baptist Church.

    A lifelong resident of Lexington County, Scott is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hunting and fishing.

    William Herbert Lynch

    Funeral Director

    William Herbert Lynch was raised in Alcolu, South Carolina, and graduated from Sumter High School in 2012. He started in the funeral service as a funeral assistant right out of high school and then moved onto the role of apprentice funeral director and embalmer. He graduated from Piedmont Technical College with a Degree of Applied Science in funeral services and became a licensed funeral director in January 2018.

    William is also a certified crematory operator and certified cremation services provider. William resides in Chapin with his wife, who is a local kindergarten teacher, and their dog, Sloan. William is a volunteer firefighter with the Chapin Fire Department (Lexington County Fire Service), a member of the Chapin Chamber of Commerce and also serves as the chairman for the Dignity Memorial Homeless Veterans Burial Program for the area. William truly sees the funeral profession as a calling and looks forward to serving the communities and residents of the greater Lexington County.

    Samantha J Nienberg

    Funeral Director

    Samantha Nienberg is a graduate of Ottawa-Glandorf High School and Piedmont Technical College, School of Mortuary Science. Formerly of Ohio, she has lived in Lexington since 1998. Samantha is a licensed funeral director and embalmer and has been with Caughman-Harman Funeral Home since 2001.

    Samantha has earned the voluntary designation of certified funeral service practitioner and is a member of the Lexington and Irmo Chamber of Commerce and the South Carolina Funeral Directors Association.

    Samantha has 2 dogs, Vada and Hank.

    Weston M Shealy

    Funeral Director

    Weston Shealy, a lifelong resident of Lexington County, graduated from Batesburg-Leesville High School and Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service. He has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1980 and has been with Caughman-Harman Funeral Home since 2012. Weston was a volunteer for Batesburg-Leesville Fire Department for 18 years. He is a member of Old Lexington Baptist Church in Leesville and the South Carolina Funeral Directors Association. He is married and has a son and daughter.
