Faye Aldrich, 75 FALLBROOK/ OCEANSIDE -- Faye Aldrich passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at Tri-City Hospital. She was a proud graduate of Fallbrook High School and worked as a bookkeeper for several different towing, construction, and insurance related businesses for over 30 years. Faye eloped and married Jack Aldrich in 1953 on the the 4th of July holiday so they would always have the day off from work to be together. Faye and Jack resided in Oceanside from 1953 to 1981, and then moved to Fallbrook. Faye's all time favorite hobby was being a grandma, however she also enjoyed being a San Diego Charger fan, volunteering at the Angel Shop in Fallbrook, playing cards with her friends, tending to her rose garden, and travel with the Cheerful Chariots Good Sam Motor Home Club, of which she was President of her chapter for numerous years. Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Aldrich, who passed away on January 31, 1990, exactly 20 years to the day prior to her passing. She is survived by her daughter, Anne Aldrich of Oceanside; son, Tim Aldrich and daughter-in-law, Susie; grandchildren, Tom, Lauren, Jacqueline, and Michelle Aldrich, all of Oceanside; a brother, Marion Calvert and sister-in-law, Shirley Calvert of Fallbrook; and sister, Shirley Schmitt of Fallbrook. Faye will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, friend, and grandma. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, February 8, at Eternal Hills Memorial Park Chapel in Oceanside.
