Bella C. Carodiskey Sees

Born September 25, 1930, in Sunbury, she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Virginia (Harro) Carodiskey.

Bella was a member of the Colonial Park United Church of Christ in Harrisburg.

Mrs. Sees graduated with her RN from nursing school in Tennessee. She returned to Sunbury, PA, where she worked at Geisinger Hospital. After marrying, she moved to the Harrisburg area and worked at Harrisburg Hospital for many years. She then went on to work at Crumay Parnes Associates, retiring from there after 25 years.

Surviving are a son, Gregory D. Sees (and wife, Melissa) of Harrisburg; 2 daughters, Pamela S. Beardsell (and husband, James) of Warminster, PA and Janice S. Purcell (and husband, John, Jr.) of Lower Paxton Twp.; a brother, Theodore R. Carodiskey of Sunbury; a sister Sandra L. Coomes of Hummelstown; and 6 grandchildren, Kara Beardsell, Curtis Beardsell (and wife, Bridgette), Erica Purcell, Briana Purcell, Colin Purcell, and Elizabeth Sees; and a great-granddaughter, Bella Rose Sees.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Park U.C.C., 5000 Devonshire Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her Church at the above address or to Heartland Hospice, 1200 Walnut Bottom Road, Ste. 302, Carlisle, PA 17015.
