Agnes Thiessen passed away in the presence of the Lord on November 16, 2020.
She was born to Daniel and Elizabeth Krause in Langham, Saskatchewan on September 22, 1927. The family lived in Saskatchewan where she attended school along with her twin sister Anne and three brothers Dan, Henry and John. The family later moved to Abbotsford where she met ''her Jake'' and they married on August 17, 1947. Agnes and Jake then moved to Vancouver where they lived for some time, they eventually settled in Abbotsford.
Mom first did daycare work for others and then in 1954 they started to have their own family - they had a daughter and son. Mom enjoyed her work at Bakerview Church whether it was decorating, on the floral committee or the food committee helping with many special occasions, weddings etc. She then went onto volunteer at the MCC Store for fifteen years. She enjoyed working there and meeting people.
She is predeceased by her parents Daniel and Elizabeth Krause, husband Jake to whom she was married to for 71 years and who passed away July 17, 2019, her twin sister Anne and her brothers John, Henry, and Dan.
She is survived by her children daughter, Shirley (Ben), their children: Shelley (Henry) Amy, Kevin, and Byron, son Richard his children, Mercedes, Angelika (Chad), Tremayne and Dallas, as well as great-grandchildren Jenna, Hailey, Fraser and Phoenix.
A private family graveside service was held Nov 24, 2020.
