Emilie fought a courageous battle with cancer, always trusting in God and never wavering in her faith.
Hosting and serving family and friends was Emilie’s greatest joy. She always put others first, and was happiest surrounded by her family. After dinner would find her playing games with Cornie and whoever would drop by to join them for coffee.
Emilie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend to many, and will be deeply missed.
Left to mourn is her loving husband of 60 years, Cornie; her children Judy (Ivan), Ron (Cheryl), Doug (Karen); 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and siblings Henry, John, Martha, Anne, Bill, Erna, Ella, Tilly, and Bernie.
