Cathy, there is hardly a day goes by that I don't think of you. Still SO hard for me to think you are gone from this earth BUT SO happy to know you have had a year with Jesus, Floyd, Dad Wiggins and all the others who went before you. I LOVE YOU DEAR LADY!

For the all deer hunt breakfasts and seeming to be as proud of my and my son's successes as we were. For welcoming me to your home when we were teenagers, even though I'm sure you thought I was leading your son astray. For keeping me up to date on Jett when he was in Europe, but most of all for being a great Mom to my best friend, Thank you. Being around you was like having my own Mom back for a little while.

What can you say about such a special person? I have many great memories of my Aunt Cathy!!! I was lucky enough to live down the street from her as I grew up. Aunt Cathy and Uncle Floyd came and picked me up every Sunday and took me to church. She helped me to understand changes in my body when I was becoming a young lady. Asuring me that I would be ok. She welcomed Dennis into our family before any one else did. Aunt Cathy was always there for my mother. She was an angel on earth and now forever in my heart and my guardian angel in heaven. I feel blessed to have known my Aunt Cathy.
I would like to extend my sincere sympathy to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. As well as the rest of her family and friends who had the privilege to know this special lady.

Cathy will be remembered by all who knew her as the most caring, loving person in the world. She always put others first and herself last. She leaves her legacy in the beautiful children she bore and raised. Her loving deeds follow her.

I have such fond memories of "Cat", in which, will fill in the hole of her physical body not being here for me to pick up the phone and talking with her for hours. She has been in my life since I was 8 years old. I miss her so much already, but I know the Lord needed her with him now. I have been truly blessed to have her in my life! Thank you Lord for placing her in the Cates family. I extend my sincere sympathy to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and to all of us who loved her so much. Love You "Cat"!!!!!!

To All,

I was so saddened to learn of the turn of events regarding Cathy. I have very fond memories of visiting as a child and seeing her, in Niland, as an adult. Of Floyd too. She was special to me as a person that loved my mother as if she was her own. I know Mom cherised Cathy and her love immensely.

As my mom has shared communication over the last several days, I've seen the strength of character that has shown through the emails. What a tribute and legacy you all are to both Cathy and Floyd!

I wish everyone peace and comfort in this time of loss.
