Clyde Lincoln Lee, Sr. age 96 of Albion passed at his home on Monday, February 18, 2019 under the loving care of his family and Heartland Hospice. He was born on March 10, 1922 in Sulfur Springs, TX, one of 12 children born to Charles and Mae Ella (Lowe) Lee. Clyde served our country honorably in the U.S. Army. In 1947, he was united in marriage to Annie Reba (Sims) and she preceded him in death on December 16, 2012. Clyde was also preceded in death by his parents, sons, Jerry and Dexter Lee, grandson, Spencer Davis and all 11 of his brothers and sisters.
Clyde was a longtime resident of Albion, moving to the city in 1953, was employed with Corning Glass as a press operator and was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children: Brenda (Thaddies) Wingate, Carol (Larry) Bonner, Sheila (Thomas) Williams, Tamara Lee, Clyde L. (Connie) Lee, Jr., Randy Lee, 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Clyde’s family will celebrate his life with a Home Going Service on Monday, February 25, 2019 with family hour at 11AM until the time of service at 12 NOON at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 1200 State St., Albion with Pastor C.J. Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Albion Memory Gardens.
