Sis McGhee, Heaven surely has a songbird. Every single time I came home to worship at Macedonia, I saw you in the choir singing or singing from the pews. Your voice was unmatched and your smile was genuinely heartfelt and warming. You've been a singing inspiration to all of us. Thank you for using the gift God gave you to bless the city of Albion and the state of Michigan. To your children and grandchildren, thank you for sharing your mother with a church family that loved and appreciated her down through the years. It uplifts my spirit to know that she is now part of that "great cloud of witnesses." Remember, 2 Cor 5:8.

I met Sis McGhee When I was in third grade and from then until her death she was such a pleasant person. She ALWAYS encouraged us at Macedonia in the choir and in all we did in church. She was someone I looked up to In singing and Oh how I loved to hear her sing. I didn’t get to see her often but whenever I was in Albion if I couldn’t stop by I made sure I called her to say hi and she was always excited to hear from me. I will miss seeing her smiling face because besides her phenomenal voice, and those amazing nails, her smile was just as captivating. My prayers truly go out to her family and all who loved her as much as I do. Rest well Beautiful, I’ll see you on the other side. Save me a seat right next to you like old times in the soprano section. Love you forever Sis. McGhee, Always,
