Jennie Panco, age 94 of Albion formerly of Jackson passed away Sunday June 29, 2014 at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. She was born August 27, 1919 to George and Julianna (Burch) Chopper in Albion, Michigan. In 1940 she married Alexander J. Panco who preceded her September 9, 2001.
Jennie was a graduate of Washington Gardner High School. She was a homemaker, former member of St. Joseph’s Orphanage.
Jennie is survived by: Brother- Alex (Betty) Chopper of Cosby, TN Sisters- Lillian Smak of Albion Olga Giddens of Hastings Niece & Guardian- Julie Chopper- Sevierville, TN Many nieces and nephews Special friend & Guardian- Karen Case of Battle Creek
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Matt and Nicholas Chopper, and Bill Chopper, Sisters Sofia, Eleanor Lazarchuck and Anne Gaiduchik.
According to her wishes, Cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Burial will be at St. Johns Cemetery, Jackson, Michigan.
