OBITUARY

Thomas Earl Embree

October 14, 1936February 3, 2020

Thomas Earl Embree, 83 of Casselberry, Florida passed away Monday, February 3, 2020. He was born October 14, 1936 in Madison, Missouri to the late Willie and Georgia Embree. Tom was a very accomplished man. He enlisted in the United States Navy, retiring after twenty-two years of Naval service. After retiring from the Navy, he accepted a position with Fairwinds Credit Union as a loan officer and Vice President of Administration until retiring his position after twenty-five years. Tom was a Freemason and became Master Mason in March of 1977. In 1982 he served as Worshipful Master of South Seminole Lodge #364. 1987-1988 Tom was selected to serve as Junior Grand Deacon, 1988-1989 he was appointed as District Deputy Grand Master for the 16th Masonic District. 1993 Tom was awarded his 33rd degree White Hat. 1994 he was elected and served as Potentate of Bahia Shrine. 1999-2000 he served as President of Florida Service Association. 2000-2003 Tom was elected to serve as an associate member of the Board of Governors, Shriners Hospitals for Children, Tampa, Florida. Tom was also active in his community and was elected as councilman for the City of Casselberry where he served ten years in this position. He also served as a Chairman of the Business/Finance Option Advisory Committee for Valencia Community College. He was selected as the City of Casselberry Volunteer of the year in 2000. Thomas E. Embree is survived by his wife Beulah Ann Embree of 63 years. Together they have three children; Paula K. Embree – Marlowe, and her husband Mickey, Brian K. Embree, and his wife Diane, and Darrel E. Embree, and his fiancé, Afrena Khan. He also has five grandchildren (Devon, Jeffrey, Melanie, Tyler, and Elizabeth) four step grandchildren (Andrea, Kristine, Mariah, and Andrew) one great-granddaughter (Alonna) and one great-grandson (Jordan) three great-great-grandsons (Landon, Jaythan and Julian) and one great-great-granddaughter (Brynlee) Thomas is also survived by one sister Ruth Helen Embree-Maupin of Monroe City, Missouri. Her three children Danny Thomas, Darin Maupin, Diana Hendrix, her husband Keith, nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
