Tracie was a good friend of my wife, Trish, and part of a larger online community that started out as fanfiction writers and contributors. My wife and I only met Tracie face-to-face one time, when she was living in Florida before she moved to Minnesota. However, she was a constant force in my wife’s life both as a person and an artist. Our house has many pieces of her work that remind us of how skilled she was in her work and it displayed her reverence for life. She helped me through my own grief, along with support from Dawn and Beth, when my wife passed under similar circumstances just over a year ago. We will all miss her dearly.

I met Tracie online in a writing forum, and we quickly became friends - she had a way of drawing people in and keeping them close. We became part of a loving group of supportive friends around the country, and Tracie has been a best friend and a part of my everyday life for more than a decade. She was so deeply thoughtful and creative, and her care for everyone was evident in everything she did. I have been inspired by the fearless way she lived her life, and the half-step-to-the-left way she painted the world. Those of us whose lives she touched are many, and richer for it. We will miss her dearly, and never forget her.

I met Tracie online ~15 years ago and we've stayed friends all that time. Her pet portraits and flower drawings are greatly prized in my household. She added beauty to the world through her talent, warmth, kindness, wisdom, humour. I'll miss her deeply.
