Graveside services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Union Cemetery in Coon Rapids, Iowa.
Arthur DuPratt Jr. was born on November 7, 1937 in Carroll, Iowa. He grew up and received his education in Deadwood, SD. Arthur proudly served his county in the United States Army earning the ranking of SP4-E4.
Arthur worked at Firestone for over 33 years.
On April 3, 1998, Arthur married the love of his life, Sharon in Las Vegas, NV.
Arthur had a passion for sports, and enjoyed spending his time fishing and hunting, but most of all treasured the time he spent with his family.
Arthur is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Sharon; daughters, Jeanann (Rick) Reed and Jessica (Zane) Sweeney; son, Jamie Hatfield; brother, Don (Arlene) DuPratt; four grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and 3 nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Dagmar DuPratt.
