Upon the death of her husband, Dora moved to Glacier Hills in Ann Arbor to be close to her children. She was active in committees at Glacier including the Quality and Scholarship Committees, and involved in the planning of the new Glacier Hills Clinic. She was a member of PEO and fully lived and appreciated the sisterhood and friendships. She enjoyed

the many field trips she took all over the area with her friends. She spent time going to church and dinner on weekends with her family, celebrating holidays, and many birthdays. She went to graduations, weddings and welcomed two great-grandchildren.
