Friedrich H. “Fritz” Bausch, 88, passed away August 17, 2018 in Ann Arbor. Fritz was born in Wiesbaden, Germany; emigrating to the U.S. in 1956. On June 6, 1959 he married Lucy A. Egas. On December 31, 1969 they added their son, David H. to their family. Fritz is also survived by his granddaughter, Alexis A. Bausch.
Fritz was proud of his work with the University of Michigan, retiring in 1992. He was known to be a “Man-of-all-trades” and this made him ready to lend a hand to friends and neighbors. He was generous with his time, visiting the sick and caring for the elderly.
Friends may visit Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from Noon to 1:00 p.m. with the service beginning at 1:00 pm at Muehlig Funeral Chapel, 403 South Fourth Avenue, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104. A private inurnment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Ann Arbor.
