Funeral service for Mrs. Bobbie W. Christopher, 86 of Ohatchee will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Rev. Sam Legon officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Christopher died Thursday, June 14, 2018.
Survivors include her sons, Mike Christopher and Tim Christopher (Karan); daughter, Beverly Whiteside (Blake); grandchildren, Lendie McCloy, Heath Christopher (Amanda), Amanda Davis (David), Casey Camp, Brittany Tucker (Carey) and Josh Whiteside; 8 great-grandchildren; her siblings, David O. Williams, Jr., Martha Nunnally (Bobby), Sue Diffie (Billy), Ruth Howard (Bobby), Jo Reynolds, Jewel Thaxton (Roddy), Wayne Williams (Gail) and Gail Hughes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Curtis Christopher; son, Dennis Christopher; parents, David O. and Nettie M. Williams; sister, Mabel Bryant; brothers, Dillard Williams and James Williams.
Pallbearers will be Lee Heifner, Blake Whiteside, Josh Whiteside, Heath Christopher, Colton Christopher, Adam McCloy, Casey Camp and David Davis.
Mrs. Christopher was a graduate of Ohatchee High School and a member of Ohatchee United Methodist Church. She retired from the town of Ohatchee after 32 years as town clerk. She loved camping, fishing, being outdoors, loved life and her family and friends.
