

SAKS – A going home service for Mrs. Janice C. “Granice” Casey, 65 of Saks will be Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Bishop Jerry Irwin and Rev. Phil Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, July 13, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Casey passed away July 11, 2015 at Baptist Princeton in Birmingham.
Mrs. Casey is survived by her husband of 37 years, Eddie Casey; daughter, Keri (Ken) Bishop; grandchildren, Adam Bishop and Jana Bishop;
Mrs. Casey was preceded in death by her parents; Winfred and Gladys Clements.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
Mrs. Casey was a native and lifelong resident of Anniston and 1968 Graduate of Saks High School. She was an employee of Liberty National for many years and retired as a loved and valued Office manager at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
Granice loved to be surrounded by family and friends sharing stories and special memories. The family request that if you have a special story or memory that you would like to share, please write it down and bring to the visitation or service. There will be a memory basket for you to place them in.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Harvest Church of God in Anniston, The American Cancer Society, or the animal shelter of your choice.
