Mrs. Linda was a very special friend to me and my family. She was a blessing and inspiration to me and lots of others. She always had a sweet smile and spirit about her. She would always smile at us when she was playing the piano at church. She loved playing the piano and coming to church. She loved God more. She was a dedicated and faithful servant for her Lord. I know alot of times she was in pain, but she came to church anyway. The world would be a better place if we had more people like Mrs. Linda and Mr. Mackie. We would talk on the phone just about everyday a good while until she got worse and couldn't talk long. She would always tell me I was a blessing to her; but she was the blessing to me. I really do miss my sweet friend, but at least she is not suffering now. She is with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She would always say to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I know she worried about leaving Mr. Mackie, but I believe as close as this family is they will take care of him. She would tell me not to ever forget that she loves me and I never will forget that. I want to thank God for allowing me to get to know her and be her friend. Mrs. Linda always encouraged everyone she knew. She always talked about all the many blessings God had given her. She was so thankful for them. She loved her family so much. She would always tell me how loving and good they were to her. I will miss my sweet precious friend, but I will never forget her. Mr. Mackie if you ever need anything my family and I are only a phone call away. We love you and care about you alot.

Linda was my second sister-in-law that came into our family. There are so many fond memories of her. She had the sweetest smile and laugh. She made you feel loved and welcome in her and Mackie’s home. She loved the Lord with all her heart and wasn’t ashamed to let you know it. And she loved her family with all her heart. It was devastating to us all when she got cancer and we couldn’t imagine how we were going to one day live without her. I became even closer to Linda when I myself got cancer. I will always remember the day we took chemo together and she looked over and said. Who’d think one day we’d be sitting here together taking chemo ? She said cancer was something we had in common that no one could understand unless they went through it too. She was always worried about me even more so than herself. That was just the kind of person she was. She’d always call me to see how my chemo went or to wish me luck before hand. She was someone I could call and talk to and cry to. She understood so well what I was going through. The last time I talked to her was the day before she passed away and she told me she wanted me to know she loved me and I told her I loved her too and like always she said I know. Rest In Peace now my sweet sister-in-law. I will always remember you and I will miss you and I will one day see you again.

Mrs. Reaves was such a special lady. I adored her and her sweet spirit and love for her calling. She taught my oldest daughter in the 4th grade at TCA. I later in life taught one of her precious grands in K4. She will be missed but never forgotten. I know her and her former student ( my Leagha) are dancing with the Lord.
