May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Violet & Janis Holman

August 17, 2013

A message of condolence to all the family from Violet, a dear friend of Becky's Mom, Vi and Violet's daughter Janis Holman who graduated from Anniston High School with Becky. So many memories as Vi loved to speak of her 'sweet Becky' and we loved her vicariously through nearly 50 years of extended friendship. Janis would visit every Christmas and join 'our Moms' in their every Friday morning salon visit and breakfast. Becky was always a favorite memory from High School. Good bye, Becky! You were loved and blessed by a wonderful legacy in your boys! God bless and comfort each one of you in your sorrow.

Kenny, sorry to hear of Becky's passing.
She suffered a long time with alzheimers but she is at peace now. My prayers are with you and your family.

Becky always brought sunshine into the room. She was such a happy person that had the unique ability to make one feel good about themselves. My memories of her are all good ones of very happy times! Much love to the family.

Thinking about Becky today. Becky always made folks feel welcome and warm when visiting the farm in Anniston. I remember sitting on the couch with the family watching old family videos, having great Thanksgiving dinners, and Xmas parties. It was always a great time on the farm in Anniston, and Becky's warmth, smile, and joy always made it a more memorable experience.

Thinking of Becky makes me think of a smiling face and a genuine feeling that she was always glad to see me. I hope that the families fondest memories of times with her and knowledge that she is in a better place brings some confort. So sorry for the loss of Becky.

My heart is broken today after hearing about sweet Becky. I became a very close friend of Becky's while in high school at Oxford, Al. I baby sat her boys for many years. I began keeping little Brad just a few weeks after being born! Becky and I would do fun things together but mostly we loved to talk. She was a great listener and such a precious friend. I am thankful she is no longer in pain. Deep peace to Becky's family especially Ken, Brad and Scott.

My heart goes out to you, Ken, and all the rest of your family. Of course, I know the heartbreak of Alzheimer's b/c it took my dad's life. Sadly, it afflicted Becky when she was so young and cheated her out of so many wonderful years with you, her children, and her grandchildren. May God give you all peace in this sad time. I am glad Mother had Becky as a roommate for the last few months.
