In Loving Memory of Virgil Wayne Hodge

Virgil Wayne Hodge was born on April 4, 1972 and passed away on June 5, 2021. Mr. Virgil Wayne Hodge, 49 of Anniston memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Wellborn Park at 3 PM.

Mr. Hodge is survived by his wife Dell Rogers Hodge, one daughter Samantha Danielle Hodge of Oxford, one grandson Bryson Cole Morgan, one granddaughter Ava Charlene Morgan both of Oxford, One step son Cody Rogers, four step daughters and six grandchildren.

Mr. Hodge is preceded in death by his granddad Virgil Cotton and his cousin Pearlann Hodge.

Mr. Hodge was a lifelong resident of Anniston. Virgil was a loving father and Pawpaw. His world revolved around these three. Virgil never met a stranger. Until we meet again fly high and watch over all of us.

Although I didn't know the man Virgil I sure remember the 70's Virgil. He was always a happy little boy. You will surely be missed and loved by all who knew you. Rest in peace Virgil.

Big V I won't ever forget all the great times we had. Especially that one particular trip to Wal-Mart and you telling everybody about it and making everyone just fallout laughing. What a night. Lol ! (You just had to be there). You were always making everyone laugh and we all always had a good time around you . Thank you for being a part of my life and for all the joy you shared with us all. One big hearted fun loving fella, surely will be missed but I know he will be waiting and will be rejoicing when his loved ones come home. Great family reunion in Heaven. He will be remembered for his laughter and joyful love of sharing humor into many lives he's touched. Rest in peace Brother.
