Dorothy "Dot" Louise Upchurch Vance

Dot was born June 22, 1921 in Apex, NC to the late Walker and Mamie T. Upchurch. She was a graduate of Apex High School. Dot was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Byrd Vance; brother, Jimmie Upchurch; and sister, Marian Upchurch.

Dot is survived by her daughters, Jean Vance and Marilyn Vance Pease (Buddy); sisters, Margaret Jackson and Lib Tripp; grandchildren, Martin Pease (Keri) and Emily Brown (Scott); great grandchildren, Vance and Sadie Pease and Will Brown.

A graveside service will be held 11:30am Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Apex Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the home Buddy and Marilyn Pease, 2001 Sterling Silver Drive, Apex, NC 27502.
