Ernest Warren Napowsa

Warren was born on April 3, 1944 in Wake County, NC, to the late Carl M. and Elizabeth Napowsa. He was a proud native of Raleigh NC, graduated from Needham Broughton HS and retired from NC Dept. of Transportation. He was a loving husband, father (daddy) and grandfather (pa pa/woo). He loved fishing and going to Vegas.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister, Becky N. Dillard.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Pat Napowsa; daughter, Chrissy Napowsa Schlude (husband, Tim) of Apex, NC; a stepson, Timothy Newsome of Raleigh; granddaughters, Destiny Folk (husband, David), Charlotte NC; Angel Davis, Nashville TN; Tiffany Wallace (husband, Reid), Wilmington; Melissa Noble, Coats NC; Cassie Noble, Florida; two great granddaughters and one great grandson. He is also the brother of Jan N. Pittman.

Celebration of Life and Visitation will be at Apex Funeral Home, Apex NC, Tuesday, November 1, 2022, from 6-7 pm, with a service following from 7-8 pm. Burial is at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh NC, Wednesday, 12:00 noon.
