I was so sorry to read Martha's obituary in the Leader Herald. It’s been decades since the Curtins and the Kiernans got together at Caroga Lake, but I remember those days fondly.

I remember, Donna, when you and Martha came to the camp for lunch the first summer I was there.
I know that you both must have been sad to think that the camp which had been yours for so long,
was now mine. But I also think that it meant something that you sold it to someone you knew, and
whose parents had been friends with you and George. I think of you often when I am up there because
of the pillows you made and the embroidery pictures which I love.
I am so sorry that Martha has left this world much sooner than she should have. But I know that she
will live on in everyone's memory.

With love,
Debbie

We will miss her forever, our Martha. We remember our visit to South Carolina that we arranged around the total solar eclipse in August 2017. Martha drove over to meet us at my sister's in Greenville. We had such fun, but no matter what we did together, Martha made sure we had fun. We also remember her meeting us at the animal shelter in Durham when we drove from NY to pick up our rescue puppy Mildred in February 2017. I have a precious photo of her laughing as she was getting a sloppy kiss from Mildred. We are thinking of her family and know how much they will miss her. Cindy and Michael

I am so sorry to read of Martha's passing . She was always one of those customers you loved to see come through the door. She had a wonderful infectious laugh. She always kept me up to date on the Curtin children, in particular Adam and Rita and of course her brother Jim. My deepest condolences to the entire family. She will be missed terribly by all who knew her .
