Edmend Mayer, 67, of Arlington Heights was born May 14, 1954, in Evanston and passed away November 14, 2021. Ed was the beloved husband of Monica (Geike) Mayer; loving father of Michelle (Zach Nohns) Mayer, Melanie (Daniel Hoppel) Mayer, Melissa (Christopher Varilek) Mayer and his late infant son Eric Mayer; cherished grandfather of Reagan and Holden; devoted son of Lorenz and the late Marlene (Apfelbacher) Mayer and dear brother of Heidi Mayer.

Memorial visitation will be Friday, December 3, 2021, from 4:00 PM until the time of the Memorial Service at 7:00 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights.

Interment will be private.

In consideration of the safety of our guests and associates, Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home will ask that proper social distancing be practiced and all guests wear face masks at all times. Thank you for your cooperation.
