In the event my previous entry has been lost, I want to say that Uncle Jay was very special to me as I was growing up. He had a very balancing effect on my life and helped me to see things in the proper perspective. I especially appreciated how he treated us as adults and not as little children. It is my regret that after moving from the Chicago area in 1967 and raising my own family, that I was not able to keep up with him the way I would have liked.

To the family,

My condolences on the the loss of Mike.  I will always share a special bond with "Mr. Aloisio"....I was his caddy when he won his first and only Club Championship at Park Ridge CC in 1973.  What an awesome player and guy and one of my great childhood memories.  The closed handshake and the slip of the $100.00 bill is still caddy shack lore.  I was lucky to join PRCC years later and spend many hours on the course playing with my mentor.  He will be missed.

Aunt Babe and family,
I was very saddened to hear of Uncle Jay's passing.  My Dad used to tell me many stories of Uncle Jay and Uncle Babe taking him to see all the jazz greats in Chicago when he was a kid.  He was held in the highest respect and admiration in our family.  My Dad had tears in his eyes as he told me how Uncle Jay told him 'you’d of made a hell of a Marine Ron', just a month or two before my Dad passed away.  That meant the world to him.  I can only try to live up to the standard that those Men lived by; they set the bar high.  I am proud to share their lineage.  I send my sincerest condolences to you all.

All my love & prayers go out to you for the loss of your Father.  What times I remember of all the family Christmas's & reunions, the food, fellowship, & baseball games.  I remember Uncle Jay always smiling and I thought he was the most handsome man.  I remember when Uncle Babe got married and Uncle Jay asked me to dance with him.  I was just a teenager & you'd of thought a famous person had asked me, but I was on a cloud while dancing with him, he was so awesome!  It was so special being at his 80'th surprise party too.  I miss being able to get all the Aloisio's together and just have a great time being together.  I know he's up in Heaven with my dad, Marty and all his other siblings having that reunion in the sky.  I love you all!

Loving Family of Uncle Jay my heart goes out to all.  To dear Aunt Babe I feel your pain as I've been through the loss of a husband. We always enjoyed the time spent with Jay at the Aloisio/Brown gatherings. He had a great sense of humor, a treasure trove of interesting, funny stories, and an artistic talent that I admired (the painting he did of the Brown family home was- and continues to be -  cherished and appreciated).
