Robert BaruchRobert Baruch was born on June 13, 1958 in Oak Park, Illinois to Joseph and Gertrude Baruch. He died Thursday, April 9, 2015 at his home.Mr. Baruch was an account executive for Smart Source.Bob followed his spirit, leaving the Midwest in his twenties to explore life in the American West. He embraced the frenzy of life in Los Angeles and sought balance by exploring the grandeur of Mother Nature in our National Parks. After his spirit was satisfied, he returned home and embraced Midwestern living. Bob enjoyed attending cultural and sporting events in Chicago, but was most at home when he was closest to nature. His favorite Chicago spot was Northerly Island where he could take in the urban landscape amid the serenity of nature. He enjoyed hiking and biking in our surrounding forest preserves and found a special rejuvenation of spirit in the serenity of Mirror Lake State Park in Wisconsin. And these adventures were made even more sublime as he journeyed to them in either his prized Dearborn MI-made Ford Mustang or his Detroit-made Chevrolet Monte Carlo.Robert is survived by his brother, John (Debra) Baruch, his sister, Nancy (Joseph) Tirado; his nieces, Kathryn Anne Baruch, Laura Christine Baruch, and Elizabeth Jane Baruch and his nephew, Mark Joseph (Lauren) BaruchHe was preceded in death by his parents.Visitation from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 pm, Monday, April 13, 2015 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois.
