Dorles Jean Reneau, 77, of Arlington, Texas went home to be with her Lord April 15, 2013. She was born in Rome, Georgia on February 16, 1936. Jean graduated from Pepperell High School and proceeded to pursue her passion in the health profession as a Phlebotomist and Laboratory Technician. She married John Wayne Reneau on October 22, 1962 and spent the next years dedicated to her husband and faithfully raising her children, teaching them the true meaning of devotion to family, the joy of learning as its own reward, and the value of stubbornly persevering toward a goal. Jean retired from General Motors in 1993 after 17 years of service. She was a member of Aldersgate Methodist Church, dedicated to the church, and the Rev. Milner always held a special place in her heart. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, John Wayne Reneau of Arlington TX; her children Andrea of Keller TX; Beth and husband Derrell of Watauga, TX; Peter and wife Kelly of Waxhaw, NC; Amanda and Sean of Arlington TX; Julie of Grand Prairie TX and John Jr. and wife Debbie of Plano TX; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is survived by sister Odessa Sullins of Rome GA and a large extended family.

The family invites all to celebrate Jean’s beautiful spirit and the special joy and humor she found in life.
