Elva Jean Oakes 83, passed away November 13, 2018 in Cleburne, TX.

Elva Jean was born on April 24, 1935 in Denver, CO to Calvin Franklin Warner and Bernice Alvana Ogden Warner. On of 4 children, Elva Jean graduated from Edgewater High School and later became known for her gift as an Interior Designer.

A loving wife, mother, Nana and friend, Elva Jean will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Tyler Oakes, Jr. on May 15, 2018.

Elva Jean is survived by her children, Stephen Tyler Oakes III and wife, Donna; Roger Brent Oakes and wife, Laurie; Richard Dean Oakes and wife Misty; and Michelle Rene Oakes Hailey and husband James; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; other family and many friends.

Visitation will be from 12:30 - 2:00 pm with her Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N Davis, Arlington, TX 76012.

Interment will take place at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery at a later date.
