James was born in Defiance, Ohio on January 11, 1943, a son of Pat Duhamell and Bobbie Duhamell. He graduated from Casa Grande Union High School and attended The University of Arizona. Jim married Phyllis Yvonne West on September 26, 1964. Jim had a career in sales as owner for Duhamell Associates and had a passion for golf and hunting.
Jim is survived by his wife, Phyllis; one son, Kurt Duhamell and wife Lisa; two grandchildren, Brittany Jeffery and Zach Duhamell; one great-grandson, Seth Jeffery; and two sisters, Karen Cope and Patsy D'Angelo.
