Mae was someone I met about 25 years ago through Pilot Club of Dallas. Someone else was selling Mae pecans and when that ceased, she inquired and I was the lucky one to start delivering pecans to Mae. Pilot Club of Dallas of Pilot International( est 1921), was chartered March 1938. It is a friendship and service organization with focus on Brain Related Issues. The Pilot Club is best known as founder of Pilot School for Deaf Children and co-founder of Callier Center for Communications Disorders on Inwood Road. Mae believed in the work of Pilot Club and was so supportive year after year. I am sure some of you, family and friends, were gifted these pecans or hand baked goods or candies Mae made. I am so saddened by her passing, but my hope is she will be looking out for me and my family, as she is undoubtedly at the right hand of God and a precious angel.

Mae Evelyn was in my Facebook group.
My mom, Claudene Jacobs Stolz, was Mae's cousin and they tried to stay in touch over the years.
Oddly enough, the two cousins passed on to go Home within just a few short weeks of each other.
God bless the family.

Some of you may not be aware that I am Mae's little brother. Many of my favorite memories as a growing child and as a mature adult include Mae; could write a book about the many great experiences and lessoned learned from her. We stayed in touch during her last months and shared some of the old memories.
My main memories of Mae will always include our common interest in music; she had a great vocal ability and often would lead the family sing-a-longs with her beautiful soprano voice.
Will miss her very much.

We are saddened to hear of our cousin Mae Evelyn's passing. Though it has been a long time since we saw her, she was a faithful emailer to our mom for years. Mae's favorite conversations were about spring flower planting & gospel music.
May your memories be a comfort to you now & the days ahead.

Mae and Bob were wonderful neighbors of my mother and father on Mitchell St. in Arlington for many years. Mae was especially kind to my mother from 1978-1994 after my father passed away suddenly at age 58; always calling and checking on mom until we had to move her closer to us.
Bobby and Kenny, your mother was always sweet to me too. She gave my bridal shower when I got married in 1969 and it was beautifully done with pretty flowers and lots of good food. We continued to exchange Christmas cards for over 45 years.
I will always remember her as the best neighbor on the block. ♥️

Ken,
I am very sorry for your loss and am praying that God continues to give you the strength you need to get through this sorrowful time. Your mother is now at peace and suffering no more, which I know does not provide any comfort to how you are feeling. You continue to be in my prayers and I am so very thankful for your cousin, Gaylia, helping you.
Please let me know if you need something that I may be help you with.
