Mrs. Margie was a true angel on earth. She took wonderful, loving care of my four children when they were very young, helping to shape them into intelligent, productive, hard-working young people. Though it had been a while since we'd seen her, she would come up in conversation and we never lost sight of her in our hearts.

Thank you for EVERYTHING! We love you Mrs. Margie!

Hello, Family
So sorry I couldn't make it today to the services. However, please know that we loved Margie very much. Shelly and I stopped by to see her on our way back from Louise's birthday party. It was so good to see her even though she didn't realize who we were. She seemed very happy there watching TV in her room, in her chair. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours today. We have lost a sweet mother, sister and grandmother. She will always be remembered. God's blessings on you all.
Love, Carolyn Songer

I will be forever grateful for the loving care provided by Margie (and Joe) to my children. Our children are the most important people to us and when it comes to turning over your baby to a "care-taker" it is the hardest thing to do. It was always easy with Margie. We could trust her. It was the next best thing to being at home with them myself. Maybe better, because it gave me a break and a chance to develop my own life outside of home. I couldn't have done that if I had not felt comfortable about who they were spending their days with. Of course, it didn't hurt that she was also "family". She raised so many kids besides her own. My favorite thing is when I would pick up the kids at night, Margie never complained or went on about all the little upsets they had during the day (unless someone got hurt). I could believe that my children were always "little angels", though I'm pretty sure they were not. It is a good lesson to learn. I know she will be missed.
