Yvette Samudio, 84, extremely precious and loved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away June 7, 2021 in Arlington, TX. A faithful and loyal daughter of God, she lived her life selflessly, bringing the presence and love of God to those whose lives she touched. Her family was blessed with a caring and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who always put them first and served as an example to her whole family. She was and continues to be the spark, the glue and the pillar of strength of the family, leaving an incredible legacy of love, joy, and faith. She is remembered and loved with the same tender affection that she showered over others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alba and Luis, her siblings, Lucy and Miguel, and aunts and uncles in her home country of Colombia.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Federico H. Samudio, her son, Federico A. Samudio (Flor), her daughters Patricia Canales and Lupita Samudio, and her granddaughter, Nicole Samudio.
Yvette Samudio, de 84 años, esposa, madre, abuela y amiga extremadamente preciosa y amada falleció el 7 de junio de 2021 en Arlington, TX. Una hija fiel y leal de Dios, vivió su vida desinteresadamente, llevando la presencia y el amor de Dios a aquellos cuyas vidas tocaba. Su familia fue bendecida con una esposa, madre y abuela cariñosa y devota que siempre los puso en primer lugar y sirvió de ejemplo para toda su familia. Ella fue y seguirá siendo la fuerza y el pilar de la familia, dejando un legado increíble de amor, de alegría y de fe inquebrantable. Ella es recordada y amada con el mismo tierno cariño que derramaba sobre los demás.
Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Alba y Luis, sus hermanos, Lucy y Miguel, y tías y tíos en su país natal de Colombia.
Le sobreviven su esposo por 62 años, Federico H. Samudio, su hijo, Federico A. Samudio y su esposa Flor, sus hijas Patricia Canales y Lupita Samudio, y su nieta, Nicole Samudio.
