Jesse Floyd Osborn
May 18, 1953 – October 30, 2019
Jesse Osborn of Arlington, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, October 30th, 2019 at Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon, WA while surrounded by loving family and friends.
Jesse was born in Mount Vernon, WA on May 18th, 1953 to Dayton Osborn and Verna Swearengin. He graduated from Mt. Si High School in Snoqualmie, WA in 1972 and worked an assortment of jobs before finding his career as a sheet metal tradesman in 1982. For 24 years, he worked job-sites all over western Washington and much of his work can still be seen today in the buildings of the greater Seattle area. This profession is also what united him with his wife, Tracy Osborn. His love for family and friends was unwavering. He spent countless hours helping those around him because that’s what was most important in his life. Jesse was an all-around “Fix-it Man” and was often found helping someone plow a snowy driveway, fixing a broke down car, or remodeling various houses. He loved to be alongside his people, covered in grease/sawdust, or riding through mountainous terrain, with a broad, genuine smile across his face.
Jesse is survived by his parents, Dayton Osborn and Verna Swearengin; his wife of nearly 28 years, Tracy Osborn; and four children, Derek (Alysha) Osborn, Roy (Jennifer) Hammock, Jason Hammock, and Tyler (Amanda) Osborn. He is also survived by five siblings, Levi (Cathy) Osborn, Leonard (Jan) Osborn, Vernon (Mary) Osborn, Theresa (Clint) Hubbard, and Vivian Kennedy; as well as seven grandchildren, whom he loved dearly: Laurel, Melony, Gabrielle, Peyton, Dominick, Jack, and Tyler, Jr. Additionally, he is survived by numerous beloved nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and extended family.
The family is grateful for your presence, prayers, and stories at Jesse’s Celebration of Life Ceremony held at Weller’s Funeral Home in Arlington on Wednesday, November 13th, 2019 at 2:00 pm.
