

Date: On the morning of July 13, 2016 June passed away peacefully with her husband, Larry, by her side.
Birth information: Born in Arlington, WA, August 11, 1925, to Jesse Franklin Cohoon and Lovey Maud (Van Horn) Cohoon.
June was the ninth child of ten, and a twin sister to Joyce. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1943. Her first job was as a teller at the Bank of Arlington. June spent her working career working for Tyee Mortgage Company and Seattle First National Bank, both in Everett, WA.
June was a long time member of the Happy Hoppers Square Dance Club. She was an active member of the Assistance League. June was the consummate hostess. She loved entertaining friends and family at her home and is known for her famous apple pie. Her grandchildren fondly remember Grandma as having the largest Christmas trees.
June is survived by her husband Lawrence (Larry) Frank Thomas; children: son Jack Santeford (Linda), daughter Diane Decker (Mike), together with her step-children: daughters Sharon Foster, Stephanie Thomas, son Grey Thomas (Lynn), daughter Rebecca Thomas, son Bruce Thomas (Joan), 20 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter Carol Spry and stepdaughter Jama Thomas, nine brothers & sisters, and her parents.
Memorial services will be held at Weller Funeral Home, located at 327 N. MacLeod Ave, Arlington, WA, on Wednesday, July 20th at 12:00pm noon, with a reception to follow. She will be laid to rest at the Arlington Cemetery next to her mother and father.
