Roberta I. Winter, 89, of Arlington, WA, went to be with the Lord on July 7, 2018, following a brief illness. Roberta was born in Sequim, WA on September 2, 1928 to George and Mable Blincoe. Roberta grew up in Sequim and graduated High School there. This is where she met and married Jake Winter. They later moved to Arlington where they raised their 3 children. She enjoyed a nursing career in the Arlington/Everett areas for 30 plus years.

She and Jake loved to explore the country in their motor home, and went on many fishing trips with friends and family. She also loved her big gardens and beautiful flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jake, baby sister Donna, daughter in law Shirley Winter, great granddaughter Gracie and grandson in law Aaron Kaufman.

She is survived by daughter Jeannette Winter of Arlington, sons Bob and Darlene Winter of Chetek, Wi, and Glenn and Karen Winter of Sequim, Wa., granddaughter Angela Kaufman of Fraser, Mi., great grandchildren Lily and Spencer Kaufman, granddaughter Alison and Kyung Ahn of Troy Mi., and great grandchildren Avery and Hudson Ahn. Also by her sister, Joan and Neil Hordyk of Lake Stevens, and Sisters in Law Millie, Beverly, Ellamae and Vi. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 12 at 2:00pm at the Arlington Cemetery. A get together will follow at Joan and Neil's home in Lake Stevens.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be gratefully accepted by one of Roberta's favorite groups, Voices of the Village, a music program for folks with disabilities. 3210 Smokey Point Drive, Suite 200. Arlington, WA 98223.
