Julia A. "Judy" Boyer (nee Riley) of Festus, MO. passed away on Tuesday December 18, 2018. Beloved wife of the late George R. Boyer; loving mother of Deborah (Lester "Bub") Johnson and Richard "Batman" (Shari) Boyer; dear grandmother of Rene (David) Perry, Jamie (Kevin) Russell, Amie (Andrew) Jackson, Jennifer Boyer and Bryan (Rachel) Fitzgerald, great grandmother of Kaitlyn (Eric) Perry, Tyler (Cate) Perry, Logan, Laythan and Marcus Russell, Nathan, Hayden, Madison and Aubrey Jackson, Jasmine Boyer, Trevon and Thaddius Ballinger, Journey Williams, Justice, Carizma and Luke Fitzgerald, great great grandmother of Liam Perry; sister of Audia Riley Meunier, Clara Riley and the late Ed Riley, Chuck Riley, Bill Riley, Helen Riley Fosko and Betty Riley Shelton; dear daughter of the late Myrtle Clara (nee Clark) and James Andrew Riley; sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Julia was a cook at the Fox School District, she also worked at the National Graphics and was Madam President at the Eagles Club in Arnold, MO.

Julia loved her children and grandkids; in her spare time she loved going to the Casino, crocheting, sewing, doing crossword puzzles and going on vacations every year with her daughter, son-in-law and grandkids, and playing her organ, especially during the Christmas season. Christmas was her favorite holiday.

Visitation will be held on Thursday December 27, 2018 from 4-8 pm at the Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home 1081 Jeffco Blvd. Arnold, MO. Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday 12:00 noon at the funeral home chapel. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
