Theresa Ellen Sonnenschein, age 92, of Arnold, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018. Theresa was born August 13, 1925 in Saint Louis, MO, daughter of Alphonsus and Mary Boyer (nee Labewig).
Theresa is survived by; daughters Julie (Eamon) Concagh; Theresa Sonnenschein; Marie (James) Condis; Dorothy (Morton) Small; Veronica (Thomas) Yaeger and Mariann Chandler; sons Eugene (Carol) Sonnenschein; John (Janis) Sonnenschein; Henry (Ken) Sonnenschein and Joseph Sonnenschein;16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and Godchildren.
Theresa was preceded in death by her husband Julian Sonnenschein and her parents Alphonsus and Mary Boyer.
Theresa was a very faithful Catholic and a member of St. David's Catholic Church. She served as a Eucharistic minister, participated in daily Mass and volunteered for many organizations over the years. Theresa had a great sense of humor and loved to dress as a clown. She brought joy to all, and will be dearly missed.
A visitation for Theresa will be held Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. David's Catholic Church, 2334 Tenbrook Rd, Arnold, MO 63010. A graveside service will immediately follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Dr, Jefferson Barracks, MO 63125.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Theresa's memory may be made to Keaton Residential Center, 120 N. Mill St., Festus, Missouri 63028.
