Berniece May Hodges Foster, 95, formerly of Savannah, GA passed away Monday, April 14, 2014.
A native of Callahan, Florida, Mrs. Foster was the daughter of the late Horace L. and Daisy Owens Hodges and was preceded in death by her husband, C. Archer Foster; brother, Kermit Hodges, and sisters, Maude Hodges Conner and Lois Hodges Stratton. She was a secretary with Savannah Bank & Trust for many years and was a member of First Christian Church in Savannah. Mrs. Foster was an avid Bridge player and known to be a good cook.
Survivors include her daughter, Sharon “Sherry” Baker and husband, Doug of Athens, GA, grandchildren, Jeremy Ozier and Bryan Baker, and great-granddaughter, Jasmine Baker.
Graveside services will be held 2PM Friday, April 25th at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Jacksonville, FL with Dr. Lynn Hyatt officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
