Clinton Allen Redding, 63, of Rockmart, GA passed away on June 4, 2016. Born in Columbus, OH, he was preceded in death by his father, Russell Allen Redding; mother, Barbara Steele; and sister, Wilma Cordts. Clint was a lover of life. He loved his family, friends, and country with great passion. He was a proud member of Masonic Lodge #97, and Eastern Star chapter #321. Clint was a professional machine mechanic and if something was broken, he could fix it. He felt very strongly about his political views and would tell anyone who listened all about them! He would be glad to know that any and everyone who reads this would cast their vote to keep Hillary Clinton out of office. That was the last thing he wanted to fix! Clint also loved boating, scuba diving, fishing, etc. and if family and friends were there, all the better. He is survived by his loving wife, Rachel Bobbitt-Redding of Rockmart, GA; sister, Beverly Johnson of Columbus, OH; son, Cody Allen Redding of Rome, GA; and daughter, Stacie McWhorter of Rome, GA. Please bring your favorite covered dish and join us for a Pot Luck Celebration of Clint’s Life at the Masonic Lodge in Rockmart, GA on Sunday, June, 19, 2016 at 2:00 PM.
