Joyce Gerlene Noles

Joyce Patton Noles, age 91, of Lithia Springs, passed away January 15, 2022. She was born in Scott County, Tennessee . to Ella & Jerome Patton, March 15, 1930. She left home at a very early age, moving to Oak Ridge, TN for work. She met Julian Arlin Noles , who she later married. She enjoyed working with him in the construction industry. She remained in the last home they built until 2021 when she moved to Lawrenceville, GA to live with daughter, Ann, and her husband, Richard Stafford. Survived by daughter, Ann, and son, Tommy Noles of Snellville; Grandchildren Lindsey Noles, Stone Noles, and Rush Noles; her Sister, Billie Carr, brother Gaven Patton, two grandchildren, Lance and Michael Noles; Nieces Sharon Hill, Brenda Richardson, Gina Carr, Crystal Carr, Thomas Carr, Carol Hayes; Nephews Thomas Carr and Jeff Patton. Celebration of Life Service will be held 12 noon January 20, 2022 at HM Patterson Oglethorpe Chapel in Brookhaven, Georgia. Rev. Blake Carter officiating. Family will receive friends and family from 11 am till 12 pm. Interment will be at Arlington Memorial Park, Atlanta, GA. A grave-side service is not planned. Note: Service for Joyce and her son-in-law, Richard Stafford, will be combined, as they passed three days apart.
