He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Randa Baggett; daughters, Kim (Joe) Lansdon, Tammy (Mark) George, and Achsha (Cliff) Cook; grandchildren, Adam (Angie) Lansdon, Megan (Jacob) Tilley, Brendan Wagnon, Kaleigh (Zach) Hyatt, Evan (Hannah) Wagnon, Kristin (Dylan) McMurrey; and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Adam Lansdon, Brendan Wagnon, Evan Wagnon, Jacob Tilley, Zach Hyatt, Dylan McMurrey.

Special thanks to Charity Christopher (RN) and the staff of Amedysis Hospice and Yolanda Ramsey, Edith Veal, and Shirley Handford at Shirley’s Angels.

Some of my fondest memories are of Tallent in the Gadsden SSA. His love of his wife’s homemade soup and the virtues of fresh pecans over frozen ones! He was a very nice man. I know his family has wonderful memories.

I'm sad to hear of Tallent's passing. He was such a good, loving, kind man. I have such fond memories of him when we worked together at Riverbend Baptist Church! A wonderful Godly man who is at home with his Lord. Prayers for his precious family.
