Robbie (Stephens) Kofol (93) long time Attica resident, died Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Altercare of Nobles Pond, Canton. She was born April 26, 1919 in Albertville, AL to the late Fred C. and Agnes (Glover) Stephens. Mrs. Kofol was a Teletypist for Western Union in her younger years then after her sons had grown she was the secretary to the plant manager at Pioneer Rubber in Attica. She was a member of the Attica United Methodist Church, Attica bridge club, and had a lifelong interest in ballroom dance. Mrs. Kofol took loving care and enjoyed her family very much. Mrs. Kofol is survived by her 2 sons: Stephen (Jacquie) Kofol of Sunnyvale, CA and Henry (Joyce) Kofol of Canton. 2 grandchildren: Taylor Kofol of Canton and Caitlin (Brandon) Nowlan of Saratoga Springs, NY and one great granddaughter of 5 days: Elizabeth Nowlan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband: John Henry Kofol whom preceded her in death in 2007, 1 brother: Fred C. Stephens and 2 sisters: Lucille Stephens and Jewel Pfifer. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 295 W. Tiffin Street, Attica. Burial will be in the Attica-Venice Township Cemetery, Attica. Friends may call 5-7 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Henry and Family, so sorry to hear of your loss. My prayers are with you. Your mom and I chatted quite often during the last couple years she was in Attica and coming to church. I truly enjoyed her. God Bless.
