Roy and I thank you for sharing so much of your self. You will never be forgotten, for just being you and the quiet things you did, and never spoke of, your generosity, and always willing to help. You will always be in our hearts.
Your forever friends. Roy and Rosie.

To John's Loving Family,

I am so sorry for your loss, but take comfort in knowing that the Lord opened his arms and welcomed John home. I was blessed with the opportunity to work with John for three of my years at Fleet Operations, and remained in contact with him after I left. John had the strength of 10 men; he never let on how difficult the fight was, and it never affected how he interacted with others. He was a true gentleman and lived a life of service. He impacted more people through his service with the Foresthill Fire Department and the California Highway Patrol than anyone will ever know. John dedicated his life to others, and through his service many lives were saved. I consider John a friend, and I am a better person having had John as a friend.

I will always remember hunting, fishing, and camping with my brother. Playing in the back yard with my doll heads stuffed with socks and wrapped up with dad's expensive gray tape as baseballs.
Miss you always.
