She is survived by her daughter Dianne Morris, and grandchildren Candy (Tim) Hill, Andrew (Jody) Morris and Tim (Laura) Morris. She was married to George Harshbarger in 1945 and they had 2 children, Dianne and Ralph. She was a devoted, loving and compassionate family person who enjoyed hosting large family dinners for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the annual 4th of July party at her pool. She hosted many baby and bridal showers at her home where fun and good food was had by all. Her door was always a welcoming sight no matter the circumstances that brought you there or how long you were there to stay.
Bea was a member of Auburn Hills Presbyterian Church and editor of the beacon for more than 25 years. She was also heavily involved with Girls Scouts as an assistant troop leader and district area cookie chair. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and several bowling leagues. She enjoyed badminton and square dancing, (even winning several competitions with her husband George).
She was a wonderful mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, and Aunt Bea whose presence will be greatly missed.
