Robert Duel Stockard

STOCKARD, Robert Duel, 92, of Auburn Hills, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018. He was the loving husband of 71 years to Bonnie Lee Stockard, who preceded him in death. Robert was the dear father to Bonnie F. Stockard, Bettie Tucker, and Lonnie (fiancée Renee Byrd) Stockard; cherished grandfather of Arlene and Brian (Cathy) Tucker; great- grandfather to Justin, Eric and Philip Tucker, Zachary Born, and Jade Fischer; and caring brother to Ernest Stockard and Annebell Remke. He was born the son of Eunice and Mary (Alley) Stockard in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee on September 14, 1925. Robert married Bonnie Lee Stockard on June 15, 1946 in Florence, Alabama. Robert was a World War II Navy Veteran and a member of the American Legion. His hobbies included bowling and golfing. The family will welcome friends for visitation on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from 5-9 PM and Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 10:30 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11 AM at Pixley Funeral Home, 3530 Auburn Rd., Auburn Hills, Michigan.
