Dover, NH; Doris C. Rainville 91, formerly of Auburn, died Sunday October 28, at Riverside Rest Home in Dover, NH. She was born in Lewiston on November 9, 1926 a daughter of the late Antoine and Dorothy (Coulombe) Martel. She was educated in Lewiston and graduated from St. Dominic’s High School.
Doris married Norman Rainville in 1947 and together they settled to raise their family and run the family business, NC Rainville Co. Doris enjoyed reading, traveling and most of all spending time with her beloved family.
Doris is survived by three daughters, Christine Marshall and husband Alan of Brentwood, NH, Jane Ganota and husband Charles of Exeter, NH and Patricia Prince and husband David of Lee NH, a son Donald Rainville and wife Victoria of Auburn, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband in December of 1998, her two sons, Daniel and David Rainville, and all her siblings.
Visitation Fortin Auburn Wednesday Oct. 31 from 10 AM-12 PM. Funeral will follow at the funeral home at 12 PM. Committal will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
