We met through FB by chance in 2009 & throughout the years we have kept a connection. Your constant post, humor & love of football were a few of the reasons we shared a brother/sisterhood, but 31Jul connects us more than anything!! Even days after the news, it's still too hard to believe you are gone. I can't begin to tell you, how missed you are. So many are suffering your loss. I thank you for all the years you've been in our lives and all the smiles you gave to us all. My kids are remembering all the times you've camped, danced,swam and laughed with them. From Cat Scratch Fever too Kung Foo Fighting! :) I hate this has happened, but love that you were the best step dad a girl could ask for. Thank you for loving me and my family, but most of all thank you loving my mom.

You were such an amazing man and friend. I was so blessed to have met you and so honored to call you my friend. I am so going to miss our talks, you were always so insightful and inspirational. I always knew no matter what you would be there for me with a smile and you always could make me smile. You knew the Real me, and I don't very often let anyone in. I will Never forget you and all you did for me.I will miss you terribly A.J. You were a true man and friend and so very much loved.

I first met A.J. in 2009 when he was in the hospital. I went to minister to him and came away being blessed myself. A.J. was so caring, loving, and always looked on the bright side of life. Prayers are being lifted for the entire family during this extremely difficult time. I also loved AJ and he will forever have a place in my heart!!!

We have known each other for over 30 years, and every time we would see each other we would always see who had the worst joke. You always won A.J.!!! You will be in my heart forever my young Mel! This is for you my friend...........AhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhOooooooooooooooooooAhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

A.J. my brother, you will be truly missed. you are the kindest, tender hearted man i knew. im gonna miss your wit and kind words that kept me company on facebook while i'm driving my truck across the country and then coming in to see your smiling face at get-togethers. AJ I may have not met you in person but I could see just how happy you and my mother both were in the pictures that my sister shared with me. It deeply saddens me that you were taken way too soon from your friends and family. May you watch and protect over those who loved you deeply. R.I.P AJ.

AJ indeed was a very special person, touched many lives, and will be missed by many. He had the ability to lift one's spirits and always had such a positive outlook on life...prayers for all of his family and friends in this time of grief.

AJ was a wonderful person. He was like an uncle to me for most of my life. I'll never forget the memories we shared. I am very blessed to have had such a great person in my life. He will be truly missed.
